W4M 1.0-RC2 PRERELEASE
- NOTE - this is not yet the offical RC2-beta release !! This is just for preview purposes. We do not recommend to use this version on production systems.
- Woogle RC2 does not yet fully support the upcoming MediaWiki 1.16/1.17 releases. While core features generally seem to work with 1.16 (but no thorough testing done yet), especiall< the user preferences can not be changed, due to changing Hooks in MediaWiki
- Woogle RC2 does not yet fully support if your MediaWiki is using CGI with
http://example.com/w/index.php?title=Page_title style URLs [1]
- This is the almost finished first public beta of Woogle. We consider the basic functionality rather stable, since we are using Woogle internally for around 6 months now.
- Beware that some cleanup and especially a detailed check for security issues is still todo. Be careful when exposing Woogle on public sites at this time. Use of Woogle is on your own risk.
